The thalo/Max Grumbacher Gallery (“Gallery”) is an online site for artists to showcase, promote and sell their artwork.  All artwork showcased in the Gallery is created by Authorized Max Grumbacher Gallery Artists, all of whom have been reviewed and approved by the Gallery.

 

Grumbacher has been involved in the art community providing tools and materials for artists for over 100 years.  Now, we’ve created the Max Grumbacher Gallery to share the talented artists with the world.  The Gallery exhibits a wide selection of original fine art including:  fine art painting, sculpture, collage, pottery, ceramics, mixed media, and photography.  We also offer Fine Art Reproductions and Poster Prints.

 

In order for you (as a buyer) to optimize your Gallery experience, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with how the Gallery works by using the functions “browse by artist,” “search by category” and/or “search by keyword.  You should also read the Most Frequently Asked Questions and then set up a Free Buyer Account.  A Free Buyer Account will enable you to purchase original artwork directly from the artist and/or reproductions, which are sold through the gallery.

Account Information

Do I have to set up a Free Buyer Account?

No.  You do not have to set up an account to browse or search the Gallery.  However, in order to purchase items from the Gallery, you must set up a Free Account.

 

How do I create a Free Buyer Account?

Creating an account is free and easy to do.

 

Just follow these steps:

  • Go to the “Register” menu and click on “as a buyer.”

  • Fill out the form.

  • Congratulations!  You have created a Free Buyer Account.

 

What information is required to set up a Free Buyer Account?

The Free Buyer Account requires you to set up a username and password.  You will also be asked to provide a valid email address, your first name and your last name. 

 

Is my Free Account information secure?

Yes.  The Gallery takes appropriate physical, electronic, and administrative steps to maintain the security and accuracy of all personally identifiable information.  For more information, see our Privacy Policy.

 

It should be noted that all data transmitted via our website is secure. We will never send an email or ask you via email questions pertaining to your account information. This includes but it is not limited to personal information and credit card information. If you receive an email from the Gallery requesting personal information or account information, please forward the information to support[at]maxgrumbachergallery.com.

 

Why does the Gallery collect certain information about me?

Click on the “Forgot Username/Password” link.  You will then be prompted to type in the email address associated with your account.  An email will be sent to you with directions on how to create a new password.

How do I change my password?

  1. Log in to your account.

  2. Go to "My Account."

  3. Click on the "Edit Account Password" link.

  4. Enter your old password, then your new password.

  5. Confirm your new password.

  6. Click “Save” and your password will be updated.

  7. If you click "Cancel," no changes will be made to your existing password.

 

How do I change my email address?

  1. Log in to your account.

  2. Click on “My Account.”

  3. Click on the “Edit Email Address” link.

  4. Type in your new email address.

  5. Click “Save” and then a confirmation email will be sent to your new email address.  This email will include instructions on how to change your email address.  Once you complete the instructions, your new email address will be activated.

  6. If you click “Cancel,” no changes will be made to your existing email address.

What type of artwork is offered in the Max Grumbacher Gallery?

 

Original Artwork - The Gallery exhibits a wide range of fine art originals, including (but not limited to) fine art paintings, sculptures, collages, pottery, ceramics, mixed media, and photography from Authorized Max Grumbacher Gallery Artists. If you are interested in purchasing original artwork, fill out the necessary forms and the Gallery will notify the artist regarding your interest. From this point forward, the transaction is strictly between you and the artist.

 

Fine Art Reproductions – The Gallery also offers Fine Art Reproductions and Poster Prints of original artwork.  Each individual artist decides which of his or her works will be available for sale-as originals, reproductions, or both.

 

What types of paper/canvas do you use for the Reproductions?

The Fine Art Reproductions are printed on high quality 17mil Artist Canvas. The canvas reproduction can be ordered rolled or mounted on light and durable stretcher bars. Available in different standard sizes. Poster Prints are printed on high quality poster paper (65% polyester 35% cotton - 296 gsm). Available in different standard sizes.

 

Ordering/Purchasing Information

How do I purchase original artwork?

Just follow these four (4) easy steps.

 

  1. Log in to your account.

  2. Select your desired piece of artwork, and then click on the “Buy Original” button.

  3. Fill out the Buyer Information Form.

  4. The artist will contact you within 3 days. At this point the Max Grumbacher Gallery is no longer involved in the transaction. All purchasing and shipping details will be handled directly between you and the artist.

 

If you do not hear from the artist within 3 days of filling out the form, please send an email to support[at]maxgrumbachergallery.com and the Gallery will re-try to contact the artist on your behalf

 

How do I purchase a Fine Art Reproduction and/or Poster Print?

Purchasing from the Max Grumbacher Gallery is safe and secure.  Just follow these five (5) easy steps.

  1. Log in to your account.

  2. Select a piece of artwork, and review the reproduction options available (located in the “Reproduction Options Available for this Artwork” section), choose your desired quantity and paper type/canvas finish, and then click on “Add to Cart.”

  3. Review your order and continue checkout by clicking “Continue to Checkout or continue shopping by clicking “Continue Shopping.”

  4. When your order is complete, click on the “Continue to Checkout” button and fill out the shipping and handling, delivery details, and credit card information.

  5. Before the order is finalized, you will be prompted to review and verify your order.

 

Once you have placed an order, the following will occur:

  • You will receive a confirmation email from the Gallery informing you that we have received your order.

  • We are confident that the Reproduction will be to your satisfaction.  However, the Max Grumbacher Gallery has a “30-day return policy” for customers. The customer has the right to return the Reproduction within 30 days of the sale date for a full refund. When you purchase a Reproduction from the Gallery you acknowledge that the particular technical specifications and settings of your computer and its display will vary and could affect the accuracy of its display of the colors of artwork offered on the website, as noted, in the Terms and Conditions.

How do I inform the Gallery that I had a problem with my order/artwork?

The Max Grumbacher Gallery has a “30-day return policy” for customers. The customer has the right to return the Reproduction within 30 days of the sale date for a full refund. When you purchase a Reproduction from the Gallery you acknowledge that the particular technical specifications and settings of your computer and its display will vary and could affect the accuracy of its display of the colors of artwork offered on the website, as noted, in the Terms and Conditions.
If you receive the artwork that is damaged , you have 48 hours to inform the Gallery that you had a problem with your order/artwork.

How can I check the purchase status of my Order?

  1. Log in to your account.

  2. Click on “Purchase Status.”

  3. Click on the “Order Details” button for more information about the order.

 

What if I do not receive my Order within three (3) weeks of the order date?

What credit cards do you accept?

We accept Master Card, Visa, and Discover. 

 

What credit cards do you accept from international customers?

We accept major Master Card, Visa and Discover.  It should be noted that all prices on our website are quoted in U.S. Dollars, and you will be charged a currency conversion fee from your credit card company when you complete an international purchase.  In addition, when the goods arrive at your “ship to” location, you are responsible to pay for any duties, customs, or tariffs, if applicable.

 

How will my credit card be processed?

In credit card transactions, the Gallery uses “SSL” (Secure Socket Layers), the industry standard in transferring information to process your orders.  All credit card transactions occur in a secure area of the website to protect you from any loss, misuse, or alteration of information collected.  For more information, please see our Privacy Policy.

Do You Offer Framing Services?

We currently do not offer framing services.  Please check back for further updates, as we plan to offer this service in the future.

Shipping Information/Rates

 

Do you ship to a PO Box (Post Office Box) and/or an MPO (Military Post Office) address?  (It should be noted that an MPO consists of an APO (Army Post Office) and an FPO (Fleet Post Office.)

No, we do not currently ship to Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

 

Do you ship to Canada?

Do you ship to other international addresses?

We currently only ship to the United States and Canada.
